Extender Kit Setup

Your DENS-Extender comes as a kit with two main parts, the extender itself and two Velcro strips (and some optional releasable nylon ties). You will only require 2 soft-side Velcro strips for your device. (The spares can be used for possible future requirements. A few releasable nylon ties are included in the event that you may need extra stabilization for the instrument at the end of the DENS-Extender. Ordinarily, DiaDENS-PCMs and DENAS devices are light enough and will not require extra stabilization).

1. First, you will need to attach 2 of the included Velcro strips to each of the bottom-sides of your instrument. To do that use only 2 of provided white (soft) strips, peel off the protector to expose the sticky side then attach each to the bottom-most sides nearly touching the bottom of your unit.

2. After the sides are attached on your instrument using the extender, slide the "ring" on the handle forward to open the "bite" of the extender. Carefully "grab" your instrument by squeezing the handle tightly. Using your thumb, you can lock the tight position by pulling the sliding ring as far back as you can.

3. Finally, you can manually adjust your instrument by tilting it slightly, forward or backward, so that you can best effectively provide treatment squarely to your body. Make certain the handle ring set is as tight as you can manage. (Move the "ring" forward to loosen the grip in order to remove your unit when needed).

When treating yourself,
you can turn your instrument on to your desired setting. You can then hold the Extender on any part of the unit and put light pressure on your body with your instrument which will be attached firmly on the end.

From a sitting or lying position
, you should be able to apply your instrument to your lower legs and feet. From a sitting or standing position, you should be able to apply the instrument's energy to your upper back and other difficult to reach areas.
